In the illustration, you can see a sad woman holding onto her stomach but in place of her body, there is a cage and she is prying the cage open. This piece was made in response to the overturning of Roe V Wade and it speaks on abortion rights. The cage is a metaphor for women having to go through unwanted pregnancies and giving birth, feeling as though they are being trapped in their own bodies.
