- i'm not a native speaker of either japanese or english, but i'm still learning and doing my best to improve!
- i have a very liberal style of translating-- i try to make sure everything sounds natural, flows well, and feels in character. so i may change lines up and occasionally connect two separate lines together, but i make sure the original meaning of the line is not lost.
- i try to keep the language i use as simple as i possibly can, to make my translations easier to read for my fellow non-english native enstars fans!
- i'm not a fan of tl notes (ofc i've nothing against them, i just don't like using them myself), so i don't use them unless they're absolutely necessary (e.g. a cultural reference i have to explain)
- i use the official spellings of tori, koga and kuro (because i'm used to them) but i always write "yuuta" and never "yuta." i... i don't know. that's just what i do... that's just how it is my guy
- fyi, if hinata suddenly changes the way he speaks in my tls, it's how it is in the original line. he's just messing around. he's a walking talking shitpost.
