- Avoid physical force at all costs
- Build a pillow fort on rainy nights and a tree fort for sunny days
- Camp in the backyard.
- Cook and bake with them.
- Enroll them in music [classical first, then at 12 they can select their own instrument]
- Enroll them in sports and physical activities.
- Foster healthy eating habits [low intake of fried, carbs, high on veggies, fruits]
- Give each one a unique name. Something from years past or remarkable characters.
- Grow a garden so they appreciate the work that goes into fresh produce.
- Have pets around so they never ask for one [except maybe a pony]
- Let them decorate their rooms once they show interest.
- Let them dress themselves [i figure four years of us playing dress up with them will suffice]
- Let them get dirty and show them the importance of getting cleaned [mommy and daddy are really hygienic]
- Let them read to you.
- Limit television [i hate how dependent people are on the thing]
- No fights in front of them.
- No spoiling them.
- Read to them.
- Take pictures of everything.
- Teach them about their own culture and ethnicity, broaden their minds to those of others around the world.
- Tell them how much they're loved every chance we get.
- Word of the Day, family style.
- Yell at them the least possible [we were raised in loud homes so i don't think we can't not yell, but it's not the best way to convey anger]
