• Meeting new people
• The sweet shop, which reminds me of Willy Wonka, being just around the corner of school
• Maths teacher (!!!)
• Opening the once-a-week letters my friends wrote me
• Receiving emails and calls from distant friends and family
• Being a totally different person but still myself
• The board on which teachers write during class
• English accent (more than I ever did)
• The different type of freedom I have than the one back home
• My new friends knowing me so well, even though we met just 1 month ago
• Clean, fresh air
