Conviction

• ex: Daniel 6
• to be so thoroughly convinced that something is true that you are willing to take a stand for it regardless of the consequences
• if you don't have conviction, you are easily swayed or easily bought. you are going with what is popular or beneficial.
• do you have any convictions about what you drink? don't drink? eat? watch on television? the friends you have? are your convictions unmovable and unchangeable?
• we compromise due to fear of criticism, rejection, failure, or loss
