  • woke up feeling sorry for myself (this happens more often than it should, i have an active dream life).
  • learned through an accident of timing that my closest cousin was hospitalized today and will likely lose what was to be her first child.
  • stopped feeling sorry for myself.
  • told my brother that i love him.
  • regained my equilibrium through gardening and kept my fingers crossed.
  • compared floor plans with my neighbor.
  • got a rejection letter in the mail.
  • ate an andronico's ginger bread with tea.
  • sat in the dark typing, not unhappily.
