Chuck is an obsessive-compulsive listographer and record collector with an insatiable appetite for music, especially on vinyl. His music collection currently numbers over 15,000 elpees. This trailing-edge boomer knows audiophilia is a sickness for which there is no cure, and that's just fine with Chuck and those who love him despite the associated hoarding, which he cleverly defends as "therapeutic." Chuck has been searching for obscure LP's since his college years, and he spends much of his free time on urban vinyl expeditions to this day. In addition to Chuck's enthusiasm for combining list making and music, he enjoys tiki bars, mid-century modern, entomology, etymology, native cacti, conquering urban blight, whistling in the dark and sniffing freshly cut cilantro.

Chuck's music lists are for his use and are not actually intended for public consumption. However, if you are a fellow audiophile you may find these lists somewhat interesting and useful. There's one proviso: These lists were compiled after Chuck accidentally bumped his head on a Prosopis tree while irrigating his Aristolochia vine. As a result, he's a little off these days, so peruse at your own risk.

Chuck mostly enjoys classic, progressive and other rock subgenres, reggae, bluegrass, jazz, and exotica. It truly amazes Chuck how much great music there is out there that goes mostly unnoticed, and conversely how much awful music becomes popular and makes the Top 40 list.
