I'm really into the Shoushimin Series right now (2024年8月25日). With only 10 episodes, I’m a bit sad because I’ve offered my whole soul to this series and wish there was more ( ；∀；) The Hyouka vibes are strong, as it's from the same author, Yonezawa-sensei. The story focuses on two extraordinary characters trying to live normal lives, navigating everyday situations and minor crimes. The use of cinemascope adds a cinematic touch, and the art and pacing are stunning. Also, the beautifully illustrated cakes are simply irresistible. Everything in this series comes together beautifully.

I'm pumped to dive into the full book series that the Shoushimin anime is based on.

update (2024年9月15日): Turns out, Shoushimin Season 2 is officially happening! Set to premiere in April 2025, and I’m super excited for it! (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡
