imagination creates reality
- everything in your physical world is a result of what you’ve previously imagined and believed to be true. neville argued that your imagination is the true reality, and the physical world is just its shadow.
the law of assumption
- assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled. to manifest a desire, you must live in the feeling that it’s already yours. if you want wealth, assume the feeling of being wealthy. if you want love, feel loved and cherished. this isn’t just about thinking positively — it’s about embodying the state of having your desire so deeply that it feels real, even if your senses deny it.
living in the end
- focus on the end result, not the process. imagine and feel as though your desire has already been achieved. see the world from the perspective of your wish fulfilled, not as an outsider looking in.
revision
- revision is a technique neville taught to change past events by rewriting them in your imagination. if something undesirable happened, reimagine it the way you would have wanted it to go. feel it so vividly that it replaces the old memory. he believed that changing your perception of the past changes your present and future because time is not linear; everything exists in the eternal now.
states of consciousness
- your life circumstances are a reflection of your state of consciousness. you must occupy the state of consciousness of your desire fulfilled. if you want success, you need to embody the state of a successful person. this involves changing your inner conversations, beliefs, and assumptions to align with that new state.
feeling is the secret
- feeling is the key to manifestation because emotions imprint desires on the subconscious mind. it’s not enough to just visualize; you must feel the emotions associated with your wish fulfilled, such as joy, gratitude, and satisfaction. “assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and the desire will harden into fact.”
the power of sleep and the state akin to sleep (sats)
- the state between wakefulness and sleep is the most powerful for impressing the subconscious. before falling asleep, neville suggested visualizing your desired outcome and feeling its reality as if it’s already accomplished. this state of deep relaxation bypasses resistance from the conscious mind, making it easier to plant new beliefs.
mental diet
- it’s highly important to maintain a healthy mental diet — guarding your mind against negative thoughts, doubts, and inner conversations that contradict your desires. you should only entertain thoughts that align with your desired state, as your inner dialogue shapes your outer world.
everyone is you pushed out
- everyone in your reality is a reflection of your assumptions and beliefs. if someone acts negatively toward you, it’s reflecting your inner beliefs about them or about yourself. to change someone’s behavior, change your assumptions about them. for example, if a person is unfriendly, assume they are kind and supportive, and watch how they begin to reflect that change.
self-concept and identity
- neville emphasized the importance of your self-concept — how you see yourself in relation to your desires. if you see yourself as unworthy or incapable, your reality will reflect that. conversely, if you embody the identity of someone who already has their desire, your reality must conform to that state.
persistence is key
- persistence in the assumption of your wish fulfilled is necessary for it to manifest. if doubts arise, return to the feeling of the wish fulfilled.
ignore the 3d reality
- don’t be discouraged by what you see in the physical world. it’s just a reflection of your past thoughts and states. continue to live in the end mentally.
faith and trust
- believe that your desires are already yours. doubt and impatience block manifestation.
quantum physics
- some modern teachings connect the law of assumption to quantum physics by suggesting that all possibilities already exist in the quantum field. by assuming the state of your desire fulfilled, you’re selecting that version of reality. see yourself as a “quantum observer” choosing which reality to experience through your focus and assumptions.
