well, he's never been pegged for the dependent one, anyway. that was the last time he having a conversation with his parents; not that they really even have a real conversation. most of the time their conversations consisted of cusses and swearing thrown back and forth at each other. seungcheol was quick to adopt a rugged and uncouth personality due to his dysfunctional family background. every argument that had risen from under their roof involved money. while his parents' noodle restaurant held only a few bunch of customers everyday, their funds were slowly declining until they've deemed it necessary to cut seungcheol's education. enraged as it was flagged as his number one priority in life, seungcheol decided to take matters into his own hands. though he's no good with verbal expressions of affection, he had always meant well with his intentions and his determination to finish his studies. despite the ill bond between seungcheol and his parents, the reason why he was so infuriated when they decided to ask him to stop college was because he /wanted/ to finish college. for them.

with no other choice, he was forced to stop for a year and worked multiple part time jobs, until eventually, today, he told his parents that he had finally saved up enough to finish his last year of studies. of course, things had to turn for the worse all too quickly and it ended up with a heated argument, two packed bags and a certain choi seungcheol leaving his home.

though he did have enough money to enrol with, where was he going to stay? how was he going to eat? how was he going to live now? while he pondered on these thoughts, his feet unconsciously brings him to his university where a sign hung right beside the gate.
