- jane bennet: most girls fancy themselves an elizabeth. and sometimes i see a bit of elizabeth in me. most of the time, though, i am jane. i tend to keep everything inside, to myself. that tends to make me quiet. i'm very internal and thoughtful, and i think jane is too.
- elinor dashwood: i'm not as completely like elinor as i am like jane. however, i identify with elinor. i, too, have a dramatic sister who is very much the opposite of myself.
- lily owens: having never known my grandmother and losing my father at the age of 10... well, lily and i were cut from the same cloth. reading the scene in which she got to see some of her mother's things made me cry. i'm always aching to know more about those who are gone.
- matilda wormwood: oh, how i loved this book as a young girl. it gave me some companionship in the world, knowing that me and matilda were kindred spirits. go books.
- ella of frell: along with being a silent sufferer, i am silently stubborn. it is my version of rebellion.
- rory gilmore: subtract the coffee addiction and swap out a love of russian literature for a love of british literature, and me and rory would be twin sisters.
- drew baylor: the only boy to make the list. elizabethtown is my favorite movie because i see so much of myself in it. not just my present self, but the self i want to be in 2, 5, 10 years. i want to go on a solitary cross-country roadtrip so very badly.
