• leorio deserved better, remembering that car scene mf was literally treated like a side character

• some of the rep for darker skinned people rubbed me the wrong way. that "love slave" girl targeted the obvious poc (not sure if he's south azn or blk tbh) and canary was a servant?? something was definitely off there

• the greed island stuff was the most interesting tbh

• bisky's and killua's relationship >>>

• the ant shit severely pissed me off. i hated all the ants and could tolerate the ally ants. i absolutely DESPISED pitou, their existence literally doesn't even make sense

• i also hated snotbrain, what reason did they have to make her nose disgusting

• i liked the power system before this arc, wing mentioned how with hostile intention nen couldn't transfer, i doubt gon & killua were giving that first ant they encountered a fist bump so why did that mf get nen

• why the fuck are there books about humans

• EPISODE 93 IS SO FUCKING GAY I HATE HETERONORMATIVITY

• the ant arc(?) also lasted way too long and milked out the battles beyond belief. there was no need for random narration that made it sound like thomas the train episodes. more than half the narration could've stopped if they made characters think the dialogue

• in fact, the only good thing about it was how killua gained character development in his battles

• that shitshow was also the reason why the next arc felt rushed as hell

• gon is such a confusing character, i can't place him in a "dont like/hate" or "like/love" box, but i'm also not completely neutral about him. like,, i think he's kind of a spoiled brat but i would be sad if he died

• this is the only exception for ships because there's no way the mcs are straight and aren't into each other

• never going to forget leorio saying to stop looking at him gayly at kurapika + witnessing him during that gay orgy scene

• people's arguments for killua's blushing is so fucking weird, if he was embarrassed about general affection he would've blushed at his sister saying she loves him

• also, he literally only cries when it's something gon-related and these mfs STILL say they're not gay

• i hate ging but the audience vs him scene was kinda funny

• still hate ging which is why that ending was anticlimactic

• cannot believe the ending featured kurapika and he wasn't there in the actual episodes </3
