- Umamusume (Umamusume: Pretty Derby)
- Sometimes, an umamusume is a transitional form between myself as a human and myself as a horse. I also experience this form as a waypoint between other equine forms of mine (centaur, earthen horse, etc); this is specific to my being as a draft horse, not my being as Azuma. Unlike my other vaguetypes, this vaguetype involves partially or fully being an umamusume. I created Sword of Soulaan to help navigate my complex feelings towards this species, existing both as a self-insert/OC and a fictionflicker for me. That said, I don't completely see myself as Sword of Soulaan. The concept and lore of Umamusume are also of great importance to me; this species concept helped improve my relationship with equinehood, especially with being both human and nonhuman.
- Taleheartedness is a part of this vaguetype as well. Oftentimes, I feel a sense of belonging within Umamusume: Pretty Derby's world and its stories. The factheartedness I feel towards this world's racehorses (ex: Gentildonna, Verxina, Still in Love, etc) also factors into this vaguetype, and I later developed a thoroughbred hearttype as a result of this relationship.
- I also experience paratype-like feelings towards Tiara Umamusume as a species. I identify with mares and label myself as one as a horse, and that carries over to umamusume who represent female racehorses. However, like any other paratype, my identity as a mare exists at a distance from this paratype.
- Majora (The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask)
- Sometimes, I flicker into the manga depiction of Majora, specifically Majora's draconic form. Other times, I flicker into Majora's Wrath. Given the anger I feel in relation to my experiences, I see myself in Majora and occasionally find myself wanting to destroy everything Rhoam built just like how Majora aimed to destroy all of Termina, even though I am not Majora nor do I belong to the same timeline as Majora.
- Apart from those 'flickers, this vaguetype largely exists in parallel to my experience as Zelda. The recurrence of time, life, death and memory all play a significant part in my timeline as well as the Hero of Time's timeline. Majora's Mask (as in the game) overlaps greatly with how I feel about my position in Tears of the Kingdom, although the circumstances are quite different. Even so, I can't overlook the similarities that both Termina's Moon and the Blood Moon create in their respective atmospheres. In a way, I consider Majora's Mask to be a paratype of sorts to my sources (Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom and Age of Imprisonment).
- I also experience taleheartedness towards Majora's Mask and its predecessor Ocarina of Time because of the themes that overlap between those timelines and my own.
- “Talon”/M-66 (Black Magic M-66 OVA)
- Sometimes, this vaguetype is triggered by my emotions. I assume a “fixed” mindset like Talon under pressure, wanting to see through a goal or task as soon as possible. Sometimes, I become Talon/M-66 in phantom shifts since its appearance is an ideal mechanical form for me. It’s not my usual form as a machine, but this specific bioroid model appeals to my machinehood for its uncannily human-like and doll-like design. Similar to my umamusume vaguetype, I actually consider myself to be Talon to some degree, albeit loosely; I’m Talon in a conceptual way, i.e. I am the idea and shape of Talon but I am not Talon as it exists in-source. This vaguetype also reminds me of autonomatons, a former vaguetype I had. I resonate with both and the similarities they share.
- Talon holds more relevance to me than a fictionflicker, but it’s also too sporadic and circumstantial to be a fictotype. Thus, this form exists within a gray area of my fictionhood. Additionally, I like to customize this vaguetype. It diverges from canon in two ways:
- First, the OVA (this vaguetype’s source) already takes on many creative liberties from the Booby Trap chapter of Shirow Masamune’s Black Magic manga, making it canon-divergent by default.
- Second, I’ve established a canon for it through personal writings. Said writings incorporate details from both the OVA and the manga, but ultimately exists separately from both continuities. Based on my own writings, this version of Talon comes from a line of bioroids whose technology— particularly an ever-evolving intelligence system— is powered by artificial magic (a.k.a. “black magic” as it’s known colloquially). By technicality, Talon operates on a form of magitech (magical technology), albeit leaning more on the science fantasy side of things. These changes were made to better relate to my own experiences with machinehood.
- This vaguetype is animalistic in nature, despite technically not being an animal. I liken it to my archetropy as a falconer’s bird. This specific archetrope is my way of understanding my relationship with humanity as Talon; it also serves as a framework for how Talon interacts with humans in my writings whenever I’m not experiencing this vaguetype as a form.
