- Alien
- Exists in relation to my overall identity as a shapeshifter and as fictionkind.
- Without a doubt, this is my strongest paratype. I consider myself an alien because of how different fiction as an influence and as a realm is treated in contrast to life on Earth. Fiction is treated like it’s a another world, distant from this one and (much like aliens) often dismissed as non-existent. I feel as though I was ripped from the realities existing within works of fiction and placed into this world.
- This paratype is expressed both literally and metaphorically. In some fictomeres, I am a literal alien (ex: Hoopa, Verza, Magica, Yuki Nagato, and The Winged Lion). In general, being a fictional person makes me feel as though I am an alien who’s now stuck on another planet with no way home. A stranger in a strange land, essentially. Regardless of this framing, I’d still be a fictional shapeshifter as well.
- The Snake in the Garden of Eden
- Exists in relation to my fictionlink/flicker as Nahash. My fictotype is a fictional depiction of this mythological figure. Although I only identify as said fictional depiction, I do see the original Snake as an inspiration and an example to set as a person. I do not believe he's deceitful and evil as he's portrayed; if anything, I question the logic behind his characterization. Call it bias, but either way, this figure and I feel intrinsically linked.
- Clow/Sakura Book (Cardcaptor Sakura)
- Exists in relation to my experience as Kero-chan/Kerberos. I spent so much time in the Clow Book that it gradually became intertwined with my identity. I also the Clow Book (now Sakura Book)'s guardian beast, so naturally, my connection to it persists. However, I would still be me with or without the book.
- Digimental of Hope
- Exists in relation to my pegasusmon fictotype. Although I'd be a pegasusmon regardless of this element, this element is still important to me on a philosophical level and on a personal level since my species evolves from the Digi-Egg of Hope.
- "The Captain"/Djeeta
- Exists in relation to my Grandcypher fictotype. Although I was built by Rackam, I feel more connected to The Captain and the overall crew because of the adventures we've shared and the dreams they carry on board. Although this paratype is directed at all depictions of the Captain, I lean towards Djeeta since she is the captain I remember in particular.
