- I am not Korean, and neither of my parents are Korean. I am a white person who was born in the United States and lived there for my whole life before studying abroad in Korea in 2012.
- I studied Korean for 4 years, beginning in 2011, and took classes in LA, at Sogang University, and at Yonsei KLI. I'm still not fluent, I'm about a TOPIK 4 (out of 6 levels)~
- I can't really recommend textbooks because those program books are the only ones I've used. Similarly, I can't really recommend any apps or websites for learning Korean.
- I am not rich. I have a job and I save money in order to be able to afford things like concert tickets and fanmeetings. I pre-sell albums to afford fansigns and very, very rarely do I over-buy (i.e. buy more albums than I've already sold).
