Pros

• I get to live in Geneva for 4 months, where would I ever get to stay in Europe for 4 months?
• A banging internship (hopefully), hopefully at an NGO.
• Close to the rest of the European countries that I want to visit.
• It is one of the most competitive programs at BU, it would be a waste to give it up.
• It is a small program, which means I would be be in close contact with my professors, compared to a larger program, where it would be 200-odd students in a class.
• It isn't a place where I feel I would get lost in; most people say the nightlife isn't overwhelming and it's a great place to live in.
• People speak English.
• Cheaper school fees, surprisingly.
• Nicer weather than Boston or London.
• I get to take a mouette (boat) as public transport! Just like in Venice.
• The housing is right beside Lake Geneva.
• It's fairly safe.

Cons

• A waste of a class taking French.
• None of the classes count toward my major. (_I would still be able to graduate on time though._)
• ... I'm scared.
