Fenris/Anders

  • Super Recs
    • Sweet Little Words (100k) Anders has a choice when he accidentally stumbles across the words Danarius used to make Fenris orgasm on command; either use the elf or help win his freedom. Fenris never expected the mage to assist him. He never expected that they would have anything in common. And he certainly didn't expect to fall in love. With Kirkwall on the brink of ruin and Danarius prowling in the shadows, Anders must free Fenris before everything comes tumbling down around them.

    • For The Love of Soccer Dads and Bake Sales (37k) There is always that one obnoxious parent at the PTA meetings. For Fenris, Anders is that parent.
    • TnT (60k) Story I: Hadriana is somewhere in Kirkwall. Fenris wants her dead, and this illness isn't going to stop him.
    • All’s Fair (27k) Fenris gets hurt, Anders' clinic is a mess, they have to share a bed.
    • MEMENTO MORI (33k) On one of his earlier escape attempts from the Circle, Anders makes it as far as Tevinter, but it's not the liberation he'd hoped for. Many years later, as part of Danarius's retinue, he meets up with the gang in Kirkwall during Act 3--but as a very different man. Hawke often enjoyed exploration after a skirmish, to cool his blood by picking through a vanquished foe’s meaningless effects. There were times when Fenris permitted it as a personal indulgence, and times when, for whatever reason, he did not.
    • Dream On (78k) F!Warden Commander kicks Justice out and leaves behind a different Anders.
    • Graduum Libertatus (Series, 225k) Part I: Fenris and Anders have had rough hate-sex before, but this time Fenris is too rough and actually hurts Anders.
    • Convergence (16k) Fenris tried to rekindle his relationship with Hawke after the three year break, only to have Hawke cruelly tell him that he would never accept someone who had denied him back. Now he's in love with Anders and he feels he can never deny him or the mage will leave him.
    • So There Was This Love Story... (9k) Hawke never meant any harm—she was just trying to do something nice for her friends. But when one of her mad magical experiments goes wrong, it somehow ends with both Anders and Fenris utterly convinced that they've been married to each other for the last four years. They're definitely going to kill her when they find out. If they find out.
    • Free (14k, A/B/O) Fenris was willing to risk his very life to remain free. Finding himself safe in a bed after a vicious fight with his former master was unexpected. Finding out that he was Omega was life altering. Discovering he was Matched with a mage? A cruel twist of fate...or the key to him discovering how to be free.
    • Dreamscape (22k) Fenris is suffering from debilitating nightmares. Anders offers to help him discover why. Both get more than they bargained for.
    • A Gift of Knowledge and Love (Series, 40k) Fenris finds no rest in his dreams, and demons hunt his every step.
    • From These Emerald Waters Doth Life Begin Anew (108k) As the Chantry burns, Fenris makes a mistake that will lead he and Anders into the Inquisition’s path, and a promise that will change their lives forever.
    • Concurrence (IN, 59k) Sometimes relationships just happen. And sometimes they don't.
    • Frame of Reference (IN, 76k) An ancient artifact reverts Hawke, Carver, Anders, and Fenris back to their younger selves with no memory of their current lives. Anders and Leto grow close as the others struggle to find a way to restore the future Champion of Kirkwall and his companions back to normal. But perhaps things will not go according to plan?
    • Affliction In His Eyes (3k) It’s a mistake. It has to be. A trick, some clever scheme of his Mage Underground to get closer to the Gallows. “Anders…” He means for it to be a question, but the name loses breath as he speaks it, fear tight in his chest as it coils thorns into his throat that drag the words into a weak, thin gasp. Brown eyes turn to him so slowly, lifeless and empty- he does not recognise Fenris.
    • For Want of a Favor (6k) Anders sets out on an epic quest to find Fenris a worthy favor, and ends up finding something more.
    • While I Breathe (26k) “I am Commander of the Grey in Ferelden. This man belongs to us, and we’ve come to either bring him back or execute him for sedition. Your interference won’t stop us.” In which the Warden Commander is both helpful and unhelpful, Fenris broods, Hawke is sarcastic and Anders is freed of Justice and becomes the Scarlet Pimpernel. Sort of.
    • De Lupus Intus (Series, 68k) Have we had Fenris as a werewolf, or a shape-shifter (who turns into a wolf)? Maybe it's something else that was included in the lyrium ceremony, or something - just an idea, feel free to use your own. I'm not talking about turning him into a mage, per se.

    • The Gravity Well (Series, 91k) Kirkwall shakes and shapes her, and if she were to be perfectly honest, Hawke could have never predicted the love and loss and the utter change to her life that the city and those she met there caused.
    • Amaranthine (Series, 143k) Leandra dies outside of Lothering. Garrett Hawke leads his siblings and Aveline Vallen to Kirkwall, only to be turned back at the gates when their uncle refuses to help them enter the city. They return to Ferelden and land in Amaranthine. A year and change later, the Grey Wardens arrive at Vigil's Keep, intending to rebuild the arling and root out the last of the darkspawn plaguing the land. The new Warden-Commander conscripts Anders, an old friend from the Circle Tower, but as a mage and an elf, she needs some outside help in dealing with unhappy nobles. Lucky for her, Varel knows just the man to help...
    • Lessons (26k) Malcolm dies before he can fully teach his youngest daughter her magic. Leandra seeks out MageAmell!Warden's help and the Commander sends Anders to teach her cousin. Hawke and Anders meet and fireworks happen. Literally.
    • MUD AND SAND (43k) Anders is a Tevinter magister (not a very good one) and Hawke is a slave (not a very good one, either) and the two don't get along very well (except for when they really, really do). Every mage, at some point or another, dreamed of one day becoming a magister in Tevinter. And if they told you differently, chances were they were lying.
    • FAREWEEL REGALITY (50k) The Family Hawke remains in Kirkwall, raising two hidden apostates; Garrett Hawke, determined never to take anything seriously, somehow finds himself serving Saemus Dumar’s committee for improving the City of Chains. And things go downhill from there. At twenty-two, Garrett Hawke was currently considered Hightown’s most eligible bachelor.
    • Still Intact, I See! On their expedition into the Deep Roads, Hawke and company stumble across a lost and forgotten Grey Warden who will change their lives, and the lives of all mages in Thedas forever.
    • IN ANY OTHER WORLD (65k) A different Anders finds himself in Garrett's bed one year after his mother's death, and it proves difficult to fill Justice's boots. Anders could feel his heartbeat through his wrists.
    • SECOND AS A FARCE (65k) On one of his many escapes from the Circle, Anders runs into Malcolm Hawke, and becomes an honorary member of the family. Sometime between the ages of eighteen and twenty, Garrett Hawke became a man. Not just any man, either. Possibly the man, a specimen Anders had only ever read about in the romance novels his old friend Karl Thekla kept hidden behind the histories of Shartan and the Exalted Marches.
    • TRANSFIGURATIONS (45k) Meredith devises a ritual of bonding between templars and mages, and Hawke gets his very own ex-apostate: Anders. Garrett Hawke spent more than a year serving the templars in Kirkwall before he was assigned a mage of his own.
    • ACTS OF ARSON (35k) Malcolm Hawke is Ferelden's First Enchanter, and Garrett lights things on fire. Garrett Hawke was called in to see the First Enchanter after he set Karl Thekla’s beard on fire, right there in the library, in front of the man’s first year force magic students.
    • Motives Hawke is so pretty that when Anders sees him near The Blooming Rose he mistakes him for a prostitute.
    • ERRANT SIGNS OF MERCY (30k) Karl Thekla lives; Garrett Hawke becomes a part of the Mage Underground; Justice still doesn't approve of Anders's obsession. In retrospect, it wasn’t the best of ideas to use magic in front of the members of the city guard, right there under the shadow of the Gallows.
    • Breaking the Silence (+ Justice, Series, 190k) Hawke, Anders and Justice throughout DA2 and beyond.
    • SANCTUM AND HEALING (82k) Varric's got a serious case of writer's block, and Anders tries to find himself in a future he can't quite believe. There was always something more to be done; the more you cleaned, the more you had to clean. Some people got off on that eternal servitude to bettering the world around them thing, while the prospect made others feel nauseated, right in the pit of their tainted belly.
    • The Phoenix of the Griffin (Series, 58k) The (mostly fluffy and bumbly) adventures of Anders and Quinn Hawke.
    • Fire, Smoke, and Magic (Series, 201k) A retelling of Dragon Age 2 from the point of view of Anders.
    • A Second Chance (41k) Hawke killed Anders after the Chantry explosion. It's been somewhere between sixteen to eighteen years after, and Hawke's tried to move on despite the heartbreak stemming from Anders' actions. And then Hawke meets reincarnated Anders. Anders came back to give life a second try, his new incarnation just isn't aware of it. Yet.
    • No Exchanges Or Refunds (Series, 140k) Garrett Hawke, the boss of the Amell family in Kirkwall, is feared and respected by all. He had a nice, neat life until he met Anders. Anders is a tired clinic doctor working just to scrape together a living. He had a very routine, comfortable life until he met Hawke.
