  • mighty morphin power rangers (just the first four seasons) - my brother and i watched this religiously, even though we were really too old for it. i'm not sure what about it was so addicting... was it the horribly bad acting or the shiny spandex costumes? or perhaps the rubbery looking monsters?
  • saved by the bell - technically this is an 80's show but the reruns were on every single weekday afternoon on multiple channels all throughout middle school & high school. i think this is the show that defined our generation... everyone who's my age grew up watching it! i was a sucker for the whole zack/kelly romance. how embarrassing!
  • boy meets world - i dunno but i really liked this show. i thought the plots and characters were really interesting. and there's something really endearing about cory and shawn being such opposites but the best of friends. topanga was kind of annoying though. and so was eric.
  • sailor moon (dubbed by canadians) - my friends and i went through a fairly shortlived phase where we were obsessed w/ sailor moon. i was sailor mercury - go figure. :) we also all had a crush on darien/tuxedo mask. he was a cartoon hottie. haha.
  • adventures of sonic the hedgehog - when i was younger my mom only allowed us to watch half an hour of tv each day. this was the show we chose to fill that quota. dunno why! i guess it was funny. sonic was a sarcastic punky little dude!
  • sabrina the teenage witch - this show actually still reruns on abc family and i for some reason really like watching it. i only like the older ones where they're in high school though. when she went to college it got kind of boring.
  • x-men (animated) - my brother watched this and i somehow ended up watching it too. it's how i got educated in the world of marvel.
  • spider-man (animated) - ditto to above. i'm still mad at the ending of the series though... so unfulfilling w/ the peter/mary jane story!
  • california dreams - a saved by the bell wannabe, except they were a band and sang a song at the end of every episode. these teenage sitcoms were so much fun.
  • muppet babies - hey, i think i can still sing the intro song... "muppet babies, we make your dream come true... muppet babies, we'll do the same for you! when your room looks kinda weird and you wish that you weren't there... just close your eyes and make believe and you can be anywhere!"

honorable mentions: Looney Tunes, Doug, Animaniacs, USA High, the secret world of alex mack, flash forward, in a heartbeat, Batman – the animated series, Rugrats
