I get really excited …

• When I finish writing in a journal and start a new one.
• When I walk down the scrapbook paper aisle at a craft store.
• Choosing fonts to use in a design or non-work/school document.
• Making a poster or a sign.
• When I get to buy new colored fine tip pens (but I always make it a rule to finish my old ones first, therefore, I don’t get to buy new pens very often!)
• When I empty my Recycle Bin on my computer and it makes that paper crunching sound.
• When I cross something off of my to-do list. Even more exciting is when I cross everything out and throw the whole list out. I feel so accomplished! (So what if the items are boring things like “laundry” and “pick up moisturizer at CVS”?)
• Singing Disney songs, mostly because I know all the words and they’re always in my range! (my favorite to sing is “Beauty & the Beast”!)
• When I hear a Backstreet Boys (or Point of Grace) song on the radio. Never mind that I have all their CDs and can hear their music any time I want. If I’m in the car and already parked, I stay in the car to listen to the rest of the song. If I’m in a store I stay in the store until the song is over, even if I’m done shopping there.
• Folding a tshirt right when it is fresh out of the dryer, so that it looks absolutely perfect.
