- Text messaging during movies.
- When my mom asks me what I thought of a movie less than 10 seconds after the credits have begun to roll.
- People who don't hold the door open when I'm literally walking right behind them.
- Drunken Wisconsin sorority girls in tube tops.
- Having someone read over my shoulder.
- People who swear indiscriminately.
- Being late to movies and other important things.
- Slow walkers (particularly those sloth-like Californians).
- The smell of tuna fish and hard-boiled eggs.
- People who talk loudly on their cellphone in public places.
- Incorrect grammar.
- Having to stop a movie and finish it the next day.
- Humidity, wind, and other frustrating meteorological events.
- People who arrogantly boast, "I don't watch television".
- Really bad hair days.
- The taste of citrusy foods after brushing your teeth.
- Camera-happy New York tourists who clog up 42nd street.
- Environmental/child/polar bear activists who hang around Nordstrom with those plastic clipboards.
- When people use "good" in a sentence rather than "well." As in, "I slept really good."
- Apathetic Portland hipsters. Not hipsters in general, just those who take it upon themselves to the world that they really don't give a shit about anything and are completely incapable of being affected.
- This new trend causing everyone to claim they have obsessive compulsive disorder.
- When my mom and Stephan make me do things like going to get the mail a block away from the house at 10:00 at night when I'm wearing nothing but socks, shorts and t-shirt (when they're fully dressed) just because they're too lazy themselves and use the fact that they're paying for my college education as reasoning for why I should go get the mail instead of them. Stuff like this happens a lot.
- Everything about old people's homes; including but not limited to the smell, the sound of Wheel of Fortune on the television, and the ugly knitting materials.
- Intense competition.
- Loud, sloppy chewing.
