- Clip coupons.
- Buy food in bulk (rice, beans, etc.).
- Join a food co-op.
- Check books out from the libary.
- Cook food at home and eat out less.
- Buy shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, makeup and other toiletries from RiteAid or inexpensive drug store.
- Purchase food items that can be made into several different meals.
- Make foods like soups, stews, chilis, casseroles, and other dishes that can be freezed and/or used for leftovers for most of the week.
- Make coffee at home rather than buying it from a coffee shop.
- Buy toilet paper, towels, and other paper products in bulk.
- Use as much of your food as possible before going shopping.
- Freeze or preserve local, organic fresh fruit and other produce while they're in season to be used year round.
