- Indigestion
- Grate an inch of peeled ginger. Take a pinch of ginger and mix with pinch of sea salt to make paste. Chew on the mixture for 1-2 minutes then swallow. Wash down with warm water.
- Blemishes, rashes, burns
- Add several drops of water to 1/2 tsp. turmeric and make thin paste. Spread the mixture on blemishes, sunburns, etc. Leave on for up to an hour, then rinse.
- Fever
- Combine 1 cup apple cider vinegar with 2 cups of water in a bowl. Dip washcloth in the mixture and apply to exposed arms, legs, torso.
- Sore throat
- Fill a tablespoon halfway with honey, then squeeze lemon to fill spoon the rest of the way. Sprinkle 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper, put the spoon in your mouth and suck on it slowly.
- Headache
- Fill bowl with ice water and 5-7 drops of peppermint oil. Dip washcloth in bowl and apply to forehead for 10-15 minutes.
- Fatigue
- Dissolve 1-2 tsp. molasses in 1/2 cup of warm water or milk. Drink daily.
