- Drink at least 64 oz. of water each day.
- Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
- Try not to drink more than two cups of coffee each day.
- Regularly practice deep breathing.
- Get 30-60 minutes of exercise at least four days a week.
- Don't hesitate to put myself and my own health before external pressures and obligations.
- Eat slowly, sensibly and mindfully.
- Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night.
- Walk, ride my bicycle, or use public transporation whenever possible.
- Try to go easy on chocolate and desserts.
- Don't allow my eating habits to be affected by anxiety, distress, frustration, boredom, etc.
- Eliminate high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils from diet.
- Seriously reduce consumption of refined sugars, flour and processed foods in general.
- Try to keep things in perspective.
- As much as possible, try to eat organic and in season.
- Recycle whenever possible.
- Eliminate all meat, dairy, eggs and other animal-related foods from diet.
- Don't watch more than an hour of tv per day, at the very most.
- Completely stop smoking.
