- The sudden onset of New York's communal Christmas spirit, resulting in the obvious; mildly-intrusive holiday markets, increased hibernation for the ladies of 807, newly palatable Christmas music trickling out from pod A, free menorahs, etc.
- Reaching our height of fully-integrated, symbiotic operation as a familial unit at the height of our Listographied, castled Cuntdom (Mr. Long included)
- Encountering Olivia and Brandon, the two most amiable of possible American Cinema classmates of mine, in the basement of Bobst at 1:00AM the night before our final essay was due, only to band together in a show of chemical-induced fortitude for the evening's remainder (necessarily, this included the drinking of many coffees and the smoking of many cigarettes, having resigned ourselves to our statuses as "foregone conclusions")
- John Sexton Sighting: much to certain individual's displeasure, turns out he's not a hologram--rather, he appears to be some glowing, jovial little old man who wears fancy-looking blue suits while suckling away at the teat of our collective academic blood and tears
- Final encounters with the Math Tutor Man (for now): seven some hours of intermittent mathematics over this last weekend of mine, the two of us cradled in the infinitely warming bosom of Warren Weaver Hall--all of this punctuated by, 1) a lovely episode of conversation in the bowels of Tisch Hall over cherry pie and warm beverages, 2) attempted dinner invitation to anonymous Persian restaurant on 33rd/Lexington and, 3) the most perfect and unexpected of gift exchanges, all of this serving to leave me in the most excellent, and meekly hopeful of parting moods
- Living in the Bobst library for the better part of a month, amongst a growing gaggle of equally desperate and demoralized students, pumping all manner of stimulants into their poor, tired bodies in a desperate attempt to prolong the battery life of whatever utilities they may have available to them
- Too many sunrises seen from the Bobst library's makeshift smoking carousel
