- Go to my Ancient Israel recitation at 9:30AM
- Meet with Kristin and plan for HoM essay presentation
- Write as comprehensive an outline as possible for HoM essay
- Finish reading ch. 10-11 in Quantitative Reasoning textbook
- Write full outline or rough draft of Gunning/Bordwell dialogue
- Attend American Cinema lecture from 6:20-9:50PM
- Wednesday (12.08)
- Write and fine tune final draft for Gunning/Bordwell dialogue
- Try out the Sahaja Meditation meeting at 6:30 in Kimmel (?)
- Meet with Selin between 2:00-4:00 to discuss test
- Thursday (12.09)
- Turn in Bordwell/Gunning dialogue at 9:30 AM
- Go to Quantitative Reasoning at 12:30PM
- Try to read some of the Orson Welles essay before the recitation
- Find at least 4 textual sources for Ancient Israel paper
- Brush up on chapters 10 and 11 for QR quiz on Friday
- Friday (12.10)
- Go to QR recitation at 9:30AM
- Work on extra practice problems for ch. 10-11 in QR textbook
- Review women-centric stories in Genesis and Exodus; pick a focus, compile usable evidence, consider a particular thesis or argument, etc.
- Research available textual resources at Bobst (scholarly journal articles in RAMBI or Religion index, available through Bobcat's research guides)
- Saturday (12.11)
- Meet with Behzad in the afternoon/review
- Find "Women In the Bible" book or pre-determined alternative (either purchased, taken out through Hebrew Union or otherwise)
- Sift through and organize evidence for "The Mothers of Israel" essay, construct general focus/thesis and write a detailed outline
- Sunday (12.12)
- Get familiar with prompts for "The House of Mirth" essay
- Write rough draft (some 5-6 pages) for Ancient Israel paper
- Finally try out 12:00 sitting at Shambhala Meditation Center
- Monday (12.13)
- Turn in final draft of Ancient Israel research paper
- Present on "The House of Mirth" casebook essay with Kristin
- Go over review sheet for Ancient Israel final exam: compile informational cheat sheets, timelines/maps/genealogies/whatever, review Bible readings, etc.
- Review relevant excerpts from the Oxford History of the Biblical World and Van der Toorn's Scribal Culture, as well as notes and additional readings
