Get a chiclet keyboard!
An optical drive really isn't important. I know you may feel you need one as a safety net, but... no.
Do not accept anything under 4 GB or RAM...
Try to shoot for mouse buttons integrated into the touchpad (not loud clicky buttons)
One that's much slimmer and can easily be carried around on the go!
