• aren't you scared ♡
  • namjoon is in love. he’s been talking to an almost-stranger for probably, like, ten minutes, he is most definitely not drunk, he’s sweating too much under an absurd amount of toilet paper, and he forgot just how bad his hormones like to kick up when he’s had just enough alcohol in his system.
  • can i get your dewey decimal number? ♡
  • Seokjin loved working at the library, but some patrons got on his nerves. Take, for example, the grown man who sat in the corner every day and leeched off of the Wi-Fi. And Seokjin worked in the children’s department.
  • unorthodox study methods
  • seokjin asks his annoying but genius roommate to help him study
  • i dream in the shape of your mouth ♡
  • Seokjin spends a lot of time in the library. Now, Namjoon does too. Taemin tries to summon Satan, and Jimin is a fuckboy. College Namjin au!
  • every step leads to you
  • Seokjin is an awkward student with a dumb crush on the snail-rescuing stranger he almost ran over. (or the four times Seokjin meets Namjoon)
  • looking at the cars that drive by
  • Seokjin is completely taken with the tall blond man who works at the gas station not far from his flowershop.
  • let's eat together
  • “Um, actually… I’ve been wondering if you wanted to eat together instead. I mean, the waitress here just messes up our orders every day and to save her the trouble of serving us separately and to save us the trouble of switching orders every day I think it’d be better if we just… you know, eat together. It’s alright if you don’t want to though, I mean, don’t get me wrong I’m not rejecting the idea of us eating separately I’m just… suggesting that we eat together.”
  • please sleep with me [i mean literally ]
  • Namjoon has always known he was a little different to the people around him.

At first it was that he thought boys were more interesting romantically than girls. Then it was the lack of interest in anything sexual. Anything at all. But he still loved Seokjin.

  • why marry him when you can marry me instead
  • Namjoon attends Yoongi's wedding but due to the fact that they haven't caught up in forever, he has no idea who Yoongi happens to actually be marrying. As a result, he kinda sorta maybe accidentally congratulates the wrong groom.
  • about your kindness
  • Seokjin's fingers are warm and Namjoon's mind is a mess.
  • sweet like cookies
  • namjoon wakes up to the smell of food and finds seokjin in the kitchen at 3am, baking cookies. someway somehow, it ends up to namjoon confessing his love to jin while theyre in a violent cookie-dough eating contest
  • we work better together
  • Prompt: “hi we’re neighbours and omg are you alright i could smell cooking burning - whoaaa now that’s just embarrassing? step aside i’ll handle this” // Or Namjoon still doesn't know how to cook at all.
  • pretty in pink
  • Seokjin really, really doesn't like Valentine's Day. Then he meets Namjoon. (After that, Valentine's Day is still horrible but everything else might not be as bad as he thought.)
  • those three words [ten different ways]
  • Seokjin doesn't have to say 'I love you' for Namjoon to know that he loves him
  • broken tables and fair ground kisses
  • Namjoon is dragged to a fair by Yoongi and Hoseok. Then when he sees Seokjin at the kissing booth, he simply can't pass up the chance to kiss him. That is until his name as the God of Destruction comes into play...
  • distance
  • The thing is, even if he’s a guy, Jin doesn’t want to be that girl.

The one that stands back and watches as the love of his life enjoys himself with another person, the one who disses the current girlfriend in their mind because she wears high-heels, he wears sneakers, she wears short skirts and he wears t-shirts. He might have known Namjoon the longest, the best, but their relationship doesn’t work like that. Friendship isn’t like that. As his friend Jin only looks after Namjoon’s well-being and happiness, and if Namjoon’s happy and fine, then that’s what matters. And Jin is happy. He is.

  • cotton candies and sugar addicts
  • In a final, desperate attempt to get Seokjin to notice him, Namjoon dyes his hair pink. However, Seokjin avoids him more than ever and Namjoon doesn't know what he did wrong.
  • and you take me the way i am
  • Angsty!Namjoon needs a little reassurance
  • could never
  • Absence makes the heart grow fonder - or, in Seokjin's case, just makes you realize something completely, stupidly obvious. AU where Seokjin owns a little bookstore, his old college friend Namjoon has become a novelist, and everyone has a lot of understated feelings.

"When I think of what life is, and how seldom love is answered by love; it is one of the moments for which the world was made."

  • sweet tooth
  • Namjoon has been dealing with recurring hypoglycemia his whole life. It's annoying, but he's managed. It's not until Namjoon trips and falls (literally) on top of the company's pretty HR manager that he manages to find a silver lining.
  • cafe lattes
  • in which namjoon only wanted to blow off some steam, but met an angel in the form of kim seokjin instead
  • chopping onions don't always make you cry
  • Namjoon sucks at cooking, Seokjin is stuck with him so he gives him some help chopping them onions.
  • be in my eyes [be in my heart]
  • Namjoon thinks Seokjin is, more or less, a work of art.

Or, the one where Namjoon didn't believe in love at first sight until he saw Seokjin.

  • hold your son tight ♡
  • Namjoon, as a new Dad, is scared that he'll break his little baby Jiminie. Good thing Seokjin is there to help him.
  • color my heart [like that red sunset] ♡
  • Leaving Ilsan meant leaving his friends and family behind, and Namjoon has never really been good at being alone. Due to the staggering statistics about the suicide rate in Korea, several universities have instituted a ‘Phone a Friend’ hotline, where students can talk to other students about their problems. There he finds solace in the warmth of a boy’s soothing voice, his raucous laughter, and the obsessive excitement he has towards the topic of food.
  • you'll be the king [and i'll be the queen]
  • When Seokjin receives a job offer to be a baker's assistant at a bakery in the mall, he'd thought that he'd be helping knead dough in the kitchen, but instead, he gets put to work as a measly salesperson who gives out bread samples to the public.

And just when he thinks things wouldn't get any worse, it happens that the salesperson from the rival bakery right across the mall is not only stealing away all his customers, but also impossibly cute.

  • venus
  • Namjoon writes songs about Jin. One day Jin finds them, and they kiss.
  • i see you
  • “Hey, why do you wear sunglasses when the sun isn’t out?”
  • “That’s an odd question.”
  • “Well, I’m curious.”
  • “Yeah? I’ll tell you later.”
  • “How much later?”
  • “We’ll see.”
  • ((Or; The third time it happened Jin started to believe that maybe this wasn’t a coincidence.))
  • and forward he goes
  • Namjoon lets his gaze drift back to Seokjin. He looks, Namjoon thinks, decidedly uncomfortable. As if he's not sure why he's there and if he should just leave. Namjoon knows how he feels. He wonders why Seokjin is there, but not enough to move, to go talk to him. Instead he just turns up the volume of his music, steadying himself. Just before the show starts, he catches Seokjin watching him.
  • lilies and clockwork
  • In which two princes grow up with a river between their kingdoms, sending messages across to each other’s windows and whispering secrets beneath the moon.
  • home
  • sometimes, namjoon is taken aback by how beautiful jin really is. not that he doesn’t notice every few minutes or so, whenever the older man does just about anything, really, his brain dumbly supplies— but it still leaves him a little breathless every time, a little flustered and just a little disoriented from how intense the realization is each time.
  • or; namjoon is really fucking in love. (jin is, too.)
  • common-law marriage
  • Namjoon and Jin were like any other couple out there. Together. In love. Living together. Married, with matching rings and a house they called their own.
  • Ignore the fact that one of them has an actual, legal wife.
  • all you need is love [and pink]
  • Most people only have one miniature angel or devil riding on their shoulders to serve as the physical manifestation of their conscience. Poor Namjoon has five, and they're all telling him the same thing: "fucking talk to him god dammit what the fuck is wrong with you"
  • vanilla
  • There’s a time and place for everything. Seokjin wants to kiss Namjoon everywhere, anywhere, all the time.
  • leave your lover [leave him for me]
  • It's been ten years since Namjoon decided he had to be anywhere but home. And upon his return, he's reminded of the reason he left.

´*Seokjin looks like a vision from the past, as beautiful as he was the day they broke up in high school and Namjoon cannot take his eyes away from the nation's acting darling. They had something wonderful before and after a long and confusing decade away, Namjoon questions why things had to end the way they did.

  • here's to my ex, hey look at me now [a giant fucking mess]
  • an au where namjoon gets absolutely smashed and starts screeching little mix lyrics at his ex's door except it turns out to be someone very different indeed.
  • all i want for christmas [is you]
  • That was it, Namjoon thought, toying with the small box in his pocket. It was a conspiracy. He was being... being... proposal-blocked.
  • before things come together
  • Namjoon didn't expect to run into the TA from his philosophy class at the gay bar Taehyung and Jimin drag him to, he really didn't expect him to look this nice outside of class, and he really, really didn't expect to have a crush on him.
  • It's going to be an interesting semester.
  • track 2
  • Seokjin is confused and Namjoon wants to play a game.
  • Also, Kim Namjoon needs to stop spending so much time with Kim Taehyung.
  • favorite
  • Namjoon doesn't like to share when it comes to Seokjin (especially if it involves cuddling).
  • is there somewhere
  • Namjoon loves Seokjin, and things are changing, yet still all the same.
  • 15 minutes
  • Seokjin is a Pretty Young Thing, and he hates it. Namjoon is the voice behind his dressing room’s door who lends an ear.
  • am i wrong?
  • For years Namjoon kept this pact with himself— years —all spent repeating to himself over and over again that this was the way things had to be. So when he found out about Jimin and Yoongi, he didn’t think he had ever been angrier in his life, because he knew, because everyone knew, that if anyone was going to break the rules and be together, it was going to be Namjoon and Seokjin.
  • the uglier the better
  • In which Hoseok and Jimin are Christmas Cupids and Namjoon has never understood the point of ugly Christmas sweaters, but he doesn't really mind them on Seokjin.
  • good morning beautiful
  • This is the type of mornings he wished he could always wake up to.
  • secret recipe
  • Plenty of people read Jin's blog, thank you very much.
  • summer sourdough
  • Seokjin is like his cupcakes: sweet, one of the greatest things about his childhood and should probably be on display in a fancy art gallery. Namjoon falls in love with him with every loaf of bread he bakes.

(I JUST WANT TO SAY: THIS IS AMAZING MY FAVORITE ONE SHOT ITS SO BEAUTIFUL A MUST READ)

  • several whys
  • There had been so many moments, so many opportunities for Seokjin to bestow him with one of his platonic kisses that he had never taken.
  • the one where seokjin has a lot to learn
  • Namjoon is asexual and apparently Seokjin is the only one that doesn't know this
  • my universe will never be the same [i'm glad you came] ♡
  • Teacher Seokjin takes his class on a trip to an observatory and meets guide Namjoon.
  • the meeting with dulcinea
  • It’s not his vanity, per se, that feels bruised, though that is a bit of it. It’s become one of their unofficial traditions, a bonding activity, a combination of friendly competition between the members and reminding Seokjin that he is loved and appreciated as more than the face of their group. So, of course, Namjoon has enthusiastically embraced this tradition, and has consistently given it the old college try.

This year, though, there’s been nothing from him. Alright, maybe it is Seokjin’s vanity that feels a bit bruised.

Or, the one where it's Valentine's Day, and Seokjin is wooed by means of gifts.

  • six hours
  • Seokjin is hungry. Luckily, he is trapped in a supermarket. Alone, frightened, and running up an enormous stack of IOUs for food eaten during his incarceration, Seokjin must brave all the dangers of an abandoned supermarket entirely alone (besides his best friend Elvis Presley and his new friend Hot Stranger)
  • coffee
  • Jin cut him off by leaning in and pressing their lips together, one hand fisting in his shirt to pull him down enough to even out the slight height difference and the other moving to the back of his neck. Namjoon wrapped both arms around his shoulders to pull him even closer, one hand sliding down to the small of his back.

There were no fireworks or confetti or dramatic romantic music playing in the background, perhaps a violin quartet accompanied by a good tenor, none of that. Instead there was the soft glow of the flickering street lamp, the slightly uncomfortable dampness of fine rain and the incessant dinging of Namjoon’s phone alerting him to several texts from Yoongi demanding to know where the hell he was.

It was fucking perfect.

  • baby next door
  • jin is dead tired, namjoon is just asleep but when taehyungie cries from the other room,

—the parents then makes a deal to each other on who will make tae sleep again and who will cook for breakfast in the morning—

(hopefully it's jin)

You take a lesson from the living. (And drink a lot of coffee while you're at it.)

Every being that walks into the cafe is his muse, all being captured in his journal. Only Seokjin has a whole separate journal for his favorite muse who is nearly there as much as himself.

But Seokjin never sees it.

  • table for two
  • “I’m not playing chef,” Seokjin bites back, an ugly feeling rising in him and making him spit out his words. “I am a chef.”

  • “Christ, put down the laptop and go eat.”

  • you drive me
  • “Please tell me you guys are almost here,” comes Taehyung’s excited voice.

Seokjin laughs, shaking his head. “I’m actually not sure how close we are. Joonie's been driving."

Taehyung gasps. “Namjoon hyung drove?”

“What the fuck?”

“Why would he let him do that? Do they have a death pact?”

“When did that fucker get his license?”

  • macaroon me
  • namjoon swallowed the lump in his throat, but that only seemed to make it grow. namjoon, corner-bakery manager, was stepping closer and closer to food celebrity seokjin, friends with one of his employees. it was just too crazy.
