- all clothes and preferably accessories must be brought from charity shops.
- if needs be, they may be brought from primark, but must not come to any more than £10
- every month £60 (at least) must be saved.
- No more buying bags- unless a) they are from a charity shop, b) i am sure i 'have to have it' and don't own anything like it already, and c) they do not exceed £4
- when out eating meals/in cafes, buy cheapest thing possible.
- only buy make-up that is neccessary (i.e. if something i use daily runs out, and preferably buy cheap.)
- try to get second job.
- no more buying lunch for work- make it at home.
- only buy jewellery that is in the sale/extremely cheap.
- buy cheap material to make skirts.
- on each payday, make a spending plan- take out the £60, and with what is left organise how much i can spend each week until the next payday.
- try and get discounts on whatever possible! (use student discount, remember to bring my railcard with me when buying train tickets..)
- remember when people's birthdays are and organise how much you will spend on their present in advance
- always remember to ask myself: Do i really need this?
