- 4 lbs fresh tomatoes
- 6 cloves garlick, minced
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1.5 tsp sugar
- Salt&Peppa
- Toss all ingredients in th crock pot (whole tomatoes too)
- Cover, cook on low for several hours, stirring occasionally
- When tomatoes have broken down, continue cooking - uncovered- until you get to a good consistency (at least 8 hours)
- Run it through a food processor and then pour it into jars/tuppaware!
