Loving Ways I Could Care for Myself
- Taking my time to be present with the food I am eating. Its colors, fragrance, texture, how it's laid out, etc. Visually taking in what my body is about to receive and then starting to eat when my body feels more open to receiving.
- Reminding myself of how basic household chores is an act of care for myself.
- Laundry allows me to have fresh clothes to wear when I need them and or want to wear them.
- It is also an act of gratitude to my clothes for helping me express myself through their colors, textures, silhouettes, and form.
- It allows me to wash off the energies from when they were worn, and resets them to be ready to create new memories with me.
- I infuse every moment, gesture, breath, to be a loving act towards myself.
- Digest something for the Soul, everyday. A passage or excerpt from a book, a visual imagery, a song or a prayer, a friendship. Allow it to fill you for the day. π
