“You were right. I forgot something.” Wednesday walks over to Enid in two great strides before she presses a chaste kiss on her cheek.

Sometimes a kiss on the bridge of her nose, her eyelid, her eyebrow, the apple of her cheek, her under-eye, or somewhere dangerously close to her lips, and sometimes her ear, where a thin hidden scar lies, and Enid blushes when that one happens, not sure how Wednesday knows about that scar.
