  • 4/3/14 There was a Bomb Threat on campus today. It's a good thing that I spontaneously went home last night. I went out for chocolate and went home instead. Had dinner with Bre! It was good. Today was a turning point in my emotional state. I need to approach life with the dynamic abilities of water and be less like stone.

  • 4\26\14 Wow, what a change. My family is finally moving, after living in the same house for almost 18 years. This is the place where I grew up! So many memories I can't keep up as we continue to clean things out and back things up. Although I have a peace that this is the right decision for m family, I'm sad that I have no choice but to move out now. Unfortunately, there won't be enough room at the new house or where they are staying in the interim.

Michelle: PS Carlo's Facebook status right now is "How can it be possible that 1 lime cost 1.50$? How am I suppose to do my mojitos? I hate the drug cartel!" I had a good solid laugh and an "Ohhhhh, Carlo" and I thought you would appreciate it.

  • 4\30\14 Went for a centering hike in the pouring rain. I'm going to miss the proximity of the woods! Bob brought me dumplings at 11:00 while I was studying. The commitment.

Michelle: Chad gets very picky about using what he calls the 'assertion-evidence' method for PPTs (http://www.writing.engr.psu.edu/slides.html), where you basically have one, complete sentence on each slide (assertion), and then you mostly have pictures that you talk about that support that assertion.
