  • 12/02/14 This Henry quote made me laugh today:"Randomly clap really hard is also motivating for some people." So I've been randomly clapping...hey, it works!
  • 12/03/14 I want to taste the salt of your skin. How's it gunna be when you don't know me any more?

Alex: I thought there would be banners and whistles but there wasn't any of that...he barely even mentioned it.

  • 12/04/13 You know your semester was challenging when finals week seems like a breeze to a normal week of class.

  • 12/06/13 Quite a few awkward spans of time today: not enough time to get anything useful done but too much time to waist. Went to a production of The Three Musketeers. It was SO much fun! A little off color but funny and the acting was great!

Dr. Johnston:"...we can discuss the implications of carcinogenic grilling at a later time!"

  • 12/07/13 Quiet day of studying in my neat, little room. Quite pleasant, although, I am still coming off the dregs of a cold. Monkey's Duck Pin Bowling Party was fun! He is a very thoughtful young fellow. He now will randomly come up and talk to me. I am glad to see him opening up.
  • 12/08/13 I feel tired so I took the day off. Needed a rest! Grumpy jerk Bear made me giggle, Tina:"You're a brute.", St.P&St.A church, Wholefoods, reading/deciphering Shakespeare, hot shower, snugglefucking, salad & Oreos, studying, laughing ourselves to sleep.

A bit of statistics terminology: When the vertical spread in a scatterplot doesn't vary too much, the scatterplot is said to be homoscedastic. The opposite of homoscedastic is heteroscedastic.

Michelle: I never knew I could harbor so much animosity for someone who has the licence plate xwing1. (referring to Dr. Robbins)

  • 12/11/12 The more I seek balance in my life, the more I realize I adequately function at extremes. Although, I think this semester I have had the best balance of working really hard and being motivated, as well as, resting and taking it easy.

Study Group for Aquatic Chem: Luke got to level 37 in Tetris (after 42min), Michelle become ill and I lost my mind...not going particularly well.

  • 12/11/13 cont: I got confused on which day it was and parked in X lot instead of L lot. Parking Survices rotates which day they check parking passes, and becuase I don't have one, I keep track. Well, when Luke and I walked out to my car I noticed I had a ticket and realized which day of the week it was. I handed Luke the ticket, "Gahhh MOTHERFUCKKER!!" He opened the bright, orange envalope,"They don't call me Luckey Luke for nothing, Celicia, it's just a warning!!!"

  • 12/14/13 (There is absolutly nothing like being kept warm by someone you care about.) Wonderful Family Day!! We were able to get our tree in ONE STOP! Incredible! I feel so happy! I feel closer to my parents, sisters, than I have in the past. It was so awesome to see our closeness reflected by our teamwork today.
  • 12/14/13 Cont: The pain of loss. Went through some old journals tonight. I found the draft of a letter that I wrote to my cousin, Nathan, when he first joined the Army. It talked about how I thought of him as a hero and decribed how much I looked up to him and how he had so positivly influenced my life. I also found my journals from the 100 Mile Winderness and pics from the trip. Ohhh, I just sat in my room and cried my eyes out. It is so hard to accept that fact that I will never be able to express to him, in person, how much he means to me. This was supposed to be the Christmas when he would be home, when he would be safe with our family.

After looking over my journals: The day that something happens is irrelevate given the fact that it happened.

  • 12/21/13 With keeping in the theme of this year, today had such highs and SUCH LOWS. The babies Christmas Cantata was really sweet. It had some potential for awkwardness but it was fun. Then went and had a family lunch with Grandma H and Aunt Anita. Had a Elf movie night in the Christmas fort! It was perfect!!...until I started vomiting every half an hour for 8hrs. The most violet retching I have ever experienced. It was so bad, at one point I couldn't vomit without wetting myself. I dry heaved so often that I pulled a muscle in my diaphragm.
  • 12/23/13 Sweet snuggles make me feels so much better. A day devoted to recovery.
  • 12/24/13 A different Christmas Eve but not a bad one. It turns out the Babies were really sick as well. So we skipped Boyden Christmas Eve. Which frankly, might have been a good thing. Did some Christmas shopping and brought home a little Bird House craft kit and we did crafts and ate Avenger ice pops and rested. It was great to recoup and rest with the babies.

It was really interesting to check out the old gears and levers that used to control the water ways. The ice in Clear Creek was like 5 ft thick in some places! On our way down Chris saved a little dog that got away from its owner. It was so scared of Chris as he snagged its leach and helped lead it back. Such loud yelps! Read "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" at Barns & Nobel. Went to a Beer Swap party. Such sweet people, good beer and fun games! The first three words that come to Chris' Mind when he thinks of "first kiss" are Wet, Spongy, Love. Naplie kept running into runners legs. It was surprising and funny.

Tried to jiggle some dirt in the lab with Chris but couldn't track down the keys. Turned into a tour of Mines. Haha The library is the largest collection of nonfiction in the country and is designed to feel like your in a mine...haha go figure. There were really awesome maps! It was cool walking around the campus. Went to the bar to play Trivia. All of Chris' friends are so sweet and super fun to chat with. Then hike South Table Mt was beautiful, had lunch on the top.

  • 12/31/13 The last day of 2013, FINALLY! New Year's Eve! Spent a large portion of the day laying in the sun and playing frisbee with Napalie. The grass was dry! It was beautiful, had lunch on the top.
