• 5/1/14 Today in EnvE London we had to measure air quality. My professor let us take pollution measurements in and around my car. I had been smelling fumes in the cab and figured it was due to the hole in my exhaust system. As it terns out, the inside of my car has a NOx concentration almost 2X higher then that of the EPA standard! Haha And the amount of fumes coming out of the muffler are almost negligible. Although the OSHA standards are such that I shouldn't be doing any chronic damage to my health, everyone decided I needed to fix my car. And also, that they would never let me give them rides to their dorms after we study!
• 5/2/14 UConn Engineering Senior Design Exhibition Day! Sold my soul to wear shoes that make me 6 ft tall. It was fun to finally not have to look up to my professors. (one wouldn't look me in the eye, hes a dork) Michelle and I went blazer shopping (I took a break from the heals while shopping, Michelle's boss informed me that there wasn't blazer in the world that would make up for the ugly mocs I was wearing haha) & got Falafel Friday!! Sahara Desert presentation was great! Everyone enjoyed the mnts in the desert as much as I enjoyed telling them about them! Went to ice cream with my family after! I'm so proud of showing them off! We finally made it!
• 5/3/14 Wrote most of my final lab report in a laundry mat. Warm, quiet and free wifi! Then went home and took a 2hr nap.
• 5/4/14 Christina is getting MARRIED?! Ahhh! Wedding shower, May the Fourth be with You! Watched minisodes of the animated Star Wars that are SO EPIC and fantastic!
• 5/5/14 Accidentally dropped my phone in the toilet. Boo! Thankfully the bathrooms had just been cleaned my the janitorial staff (I was in the building late studying).My phone always hits the crapper during finals week. Haha, this semester it actually did! Thankfully, the rice trick actually works!
• 5/6/14 Long day of studying in the Mainsfiled Public Library. Met up with Luke to work in the evening. Drank tea, ate biscotti, he wrote ways a list of things I need to do over the summer to learn Spanish (on graph paper so I would be inspired as an Engineer. Yeah... he's that good)
