I AM CRITICAL OF ALL MY INTERESTS! especially asterix! the asterix comics were for the most part written in the 50s/60s/70s and so they have some really reprehensible stuff in it including racism, misogyny, etc.! i want to stress that i dont condone any of that stuff at all. imo, while these things are terrible, they are fortunately not the premise of the series! so you can like asterix, you just need to be mindful of the issues with it (and luckily in recent asterix things a lot of the bigotry has been toned down or removed)
