MANGA :

Berserk - Caution: Very graphic in rape and gore, often takes hiatuses, but very very good otherwise. Good versus evil in a classic MacBeth story, but nothing is black or white in good/evil. Follows a character named Guts through his life struggles.
Devilman (Original) - Only five volumes long, very charming. Akira and his friend Ryo who fight demons. From 1972, highly recommended.
Girl by the Shore - Coming-of-age story about two kids who use each other to overcome depression and sexual urges. Caution for lots of underage sex.
JoJo: Diamond is Unbreakable - Probably the most real JoJo arc that I've read so far? Slice-of-life and very comfortable story about a small town in Japan that becomes haunted by stands and a serial killer...
