when dad get's discharged from the hospital and moves to the hotel, is when doug and i have to stay with him 24/7 for five weeks. i will no longer think of it as turning my life upside down... i will think of it as a vacation, because when will i get this time with dad again?

• signiture room @ John Hancock (ice cream)
• DAVE & BUSTERS (a few times)
• go to the Bean
• visit with Cindy & Jim
• Rainforest Cafe (the frog)
• Shedd Aquarium (best on Wed.)
• train ride (brown line ?)
• hangout @ Emmaus
• visit our apt. for dinner
• pick & carve pumpkin
• visit doug's papa if well enough
• paint together & shop for art supplies (dick blick)
• bake a lemon cake from scratch
