Elementary School:

• My freckles--I hated them!
• Getting invited to birthday parties.
• Whether or not my friends were mad at me.
• Getting to shave my legs.

Junior High

• My zits--boys teased me!
• Being popular--HA!
• Wanting boys to like me. I was so pathetic.
• Going to school dances on Friday nights.
• Finding someone to drive us places.
• Our parents were SO embarassing! (Now I feel so bad for feeling embarassed of them!)
• Whether or not I should try drinking/smoking

High School

• My crooked nose--Now I embrace that "flaw."
• Whether or not the random loser I was dating would call or not. Again, how pathetic.
• Who I was going to take to Homecoming or Prom.
• Being mad at someone on the cheerleading squad.
• Getting my driver's license.
• Pressure to fit in by drinking or partying.
• I remember my mom telling me: "One day all of this stuff you're worrying about won't even matter." I never believed her! She was so right!
