- meiqi was born in luoyang, a town in the henan province of china, on october 15th 1998. her father is the ceo of a big tech company whilst her mother owns a branch of high end restaurants and hotels in asia. the rest of her family are either involved in the businesses, or are world renowned lawyers or doctors.
- meiqi often travelled between luoyang and beijing as a child for family matters due to the businesses before her parents finally settled in beijing. meiqi went to a private school in beijing. she wasn't exactly the brightest, but her parents paid for tutors too and it was because of them that meiqi graduated. meiqi was very popular in school and had a lot of friends. everyone at the school was wealthy, but meiqi was significantly richer than them. soon, she learnt how to tell the difference between someone who liked her and someone who just liked her money.
- meiqi spent a few months in beijing after graduating, she wasn't sure where to go next, until she discovered SKNU. she travelled to seoul and studied there for a few months before going back to beijing and starting her own makeup brand. as of now, meng cosmetics is one of the leading makeup brands in asia.
- meiqi returned to seoul after a while and returned to sknu, now studying business to help run her company better.
