- Binjee Banjee Lion (sort of a superhero thing -- I was the lion, and even made a mane out of my hair)
- Pan pipe the crazed creature (talk in a crazy voice, do and say things to make Jeff and Adrianne laugh)
- Clinko and Dinko (adventures of a cat and dog)
- World War II soldiers (complete with court marshalling if Jeff and I got tired of each other)
- Dogs (Jeff had a marvelous collection of stuffed dogs. We pretended to be their parents. This was often intertwined with WWII above; usually in a submarine scenario.)
- Orphans who rise from the ashes and sleet with bare feet and little clothing to become rich and wear dress-up clothing.
- Sick patient and doctor -- "my arm's broken! I need medicine." Toothpaste and water poured through a funnel cured a range of ailments.
- Adventure -- always outside, either down at the farm, or in the landscape and orchard. If in the orchard, we traveled to the "circle of light" and sang the song.

- Princesses running from an utterly vile bad guy
- Cops and robbers
- And tag, sardines, fox and the eggs, go fish, cat's cradle, playing pretend, red light green light, sprinkler games, and hide-and-seek, of which I was an excellent hider
