notes: super fun, hilarious animation and a good plot. nothing was too difficult to figure out or find, and the mystery was still a surprise. funny gun scene, map was burned on 2 cd's, so you have to regularly switch discs, but not too inconvenient.

notes: entertaining, rich characters and thick plot. i had some difficulty finding evidence, you have to click every piece, or else the game wont progress. i got stuck for over an hour, and even thought about restarting because it doesn't tell you what you're missing. the taxi drivers same voice lines got real old real quick, but were funny enough.

notes: fun, but the most difficult by far. without taking notes on everything or using a walkthrough the quizzes and puzzles could take an hour or two. the knowledge and inclusion of mayan history made it so fun to learn. the ending did not satisfy me for as much as you had to remember for every maze, quiz, and puzzle. plus the awkward cutscene after you escape imminent death felt anticlimactic.

notes: not bad, finished the same day i started, nothing was too difficult. i enjoyed the story, the forest maze and the cemetery was a pain to go through every time, but not too bad. good gameplay, a solid mystery, lots of suspects, although it was easy to figure out early on.

notes: short and sweet. the most i've ever had to use second chances. i liked the characters, very likeable and interesting. if it wasn't for miles the voice acting would be rated higher, and if the map was larger and had more things to let you interact with (its a carnival!), then the gameplay would have been much more enjoyable.

notes: era of better and longer cutscenes! what an intense plotline (russians teaching orcas to steal?). the travel sequence on the maps took a long time, and didn't offer much visually, so it felt like a waste of time. there wasn't much to you are able to explore until you near the end. the waters were hard for me to navigate but fun! and i remember getting frustrated at trying to identify the wood piece lol.

notes: first game i ever played. always a blast, and a lot more tricky than i remember. no part was insurmountable, all of the characters are great and southern drawl of their voice acting is entertaining and believable. glorious cutscenes and travel scenes weren't boring so they never felt like a bother.

notes: by far the hardest game yet. tons of alchemy symbols and chemistry involved, as well as some puzzles with greek mythology, latin diction, and any many poem and books you have to infer on. while there were only 5 characters to interact with, they're all quirky in their own way. this was very intricate gameplay but my favorite of the nancy drew franchise, i enjoyed the challenges.
