The Super-Organism is inhabited by cells. Human-shaped yet merely tools, they are more akin to the microscopic cells that make up traditional human bodies. They are born from the walls of the Super-Organism, spit out prematurely. Grown cells pick up the ‘fetuses’ and raise them within special chambers, waiting for them to differentiate into their assigned role. Each cell is born biologically programmed to fit into a certain job to optimize their service to the Super-Organism.
