mum and dad say safety is a concern, but seriously, i can't look up safety of a neighborhood anywhere. it really annoys me that they say safety is an issue but a friend of a friend is their version of safe?

• location.

i wanted to go for a place that's cheap and close to the job site. since safety is an issue for them, it'd be nice to be able to buy a nicer place if they're willing to fund me.

• departure date / plane ticket.

i still haven't gotten a plane ticket, and the internship is 2 weeks away. or at least going there should be.
