GREY SKIES

cold wind and grey skies

i think it's gonna rain tonight

but here, inside

it's been raining all my life

can't seem to find

a quiet place in my mind

can't see no light

i've been here a thousand times

no strength to fight

i try and try

it doesn't work so i'll lie

i'll say i'm fine

and when no one's looking i'll cry

until i run dry

and there are no tears left in my eyes

no place to hide

shouldn't give up but i might.
