this is totally personal, just so I can keep track of the results for all the personality tests I have taken so far (that's why I've kept the description for each result lol):)
about my personality
the intp personality type is fairly rare, making up only three percent of the population, which is definitely a good thing for them, as there’s nothing they’d be more unhappy about than being "common". intps pride themselves on their inventiveness and creativity, their unique perspective and vigorous intellect. usually known as the philosopher, the architect, or the dreamy professor, intps have been responsible for many scientific discoveries throughout history. they love patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to an intp. this makes it ironic that intps’ word should always be taken with a grain of salt – it’s not that they are dishonest, but people with the intp personality type tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners.
gentle and altruistic, peacemakers are irreplaceable wherever a situation requires positivity and healing. their quiet enthusiasm, empathy, and curiosity can sometimes accomplish much more than another personality type's strident, rational approach. provided they quiet their self-doubt enough to commit to their visions, peacemakers are capable of great things. as eleanor roosevelt famously said, "the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams".
a chaotic neutral character follows his whims. he is an individualist first and last. he values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. he avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. a chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. to do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). a chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. he is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal. however, chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.
someone with pure choleric temperament is usually a goal-oriented person. people with choleric personality type are very savvy, analytical, and logical. extremely practical and straightforward, choleric people aren’t necessary very good companions or particularly social. they dislike small talk and enjoy deep and meaningful conversations. they would rather be alone than in company of shallow, superficial people. Ideally, they want to spend time with people who have similar professional interests.
the butterfly is one of the most emblematic totem animals symbolizing personal transformation. if you see the butterfly as your totem or spirit animal, pay attention to the areas in your life or personality that are in need of profound change or transformation. perhaps, this animal totem guides you to be sensitive to your personal cycles of expansion and growth, as well as the beauty of life’s continuous unfolding. an important message carried by the spirit of the butterfly is about the ability to go through important changes with grace and lightness.
in the vernacular of quality time, nothing says, "i love you," like full, undivided attention. being there for this type of person is critical, but really being there – with the tv off, fork and knife down, and all chores and tasks on standby – makes your significant other feel truly special and loved. distractions, postponed dates, or the failure to listen can be especially hurtful. quality Time also means sharing quality conversation and quality activities.
your test scores suggest that your personality style entails: that without necessarily suffering from clinical depression, you are nevertheless glum and pessimistic at heart, experiencing little joy in life. due to the stifling and dark character of your thoughts, you may at times experience psychomotorial retardation (i.e. your thoughts slowing almost to a standstill) and you may be wholly unable to experience pleasure during such bouts of melancholy and dejection. when you try to pull yourself together, there is an overpowering sense of giving up; a sense that "life is over" and that it's no use trying to fight to regain joy and a better standing in life.
