Through the years, Wonyoung wrestles with her feelings. One time, she lets them win.

note: honestly could write a whole essay about how amazing this story is. the way Wonyoung chooses the write off the obvious signs from Yujin because she thinks Yujin liking her back is impossible is expressed so well. Best 30k words I've ever read.

  • what's in a name? | by snowandwolves (ryeji, completed) i depleted half of my body's liquid through my eyes reading this

Ryujin asks her to do something impossible so Yeji does her best to rise to the occasion.

note: my favourite part of this whole story was so minor and insignificant but i think it was what made me first feel nervous about yeji's outcome. the scene where she finishes hotwiring the car and ryujin talks about the wheelchair and yeji realises she has no idea what ryujin's talking about. broke me. ruined me. a wheelchair ruined me.

Varsity soccer star Yeji is nude modeling and has a huge crush on the pretty sophomore who sits in the front of the class. Ryujin doesn't even know she exists.

things that are normal: waking up in an attractive stranger's bed after a night out.

things that are less normal: finding out attractive stranger is famous, not believing said stranger, and then seeing them as the (extremely popular) lead in the film your best friend produced.

Where Minjeong suddenly turns into a kid, and nobody knows why or for how long, but Jimin, Aeri, and Yizhuo will always do their best to take care of her.

  • girl, so confusing | wonyo (ponyohoon) (annyeongz, completed) wonyoungs characterisation is mwah

Wonyoung agrees to a double date with the enemy. No one can ever say she isn't charitable – although An Yujin may certainly try.

Circa 1979, Yujin is working a shift at the theatre with her favourite coworker.

Cue her crush walking in out of nowhere.

Suddenly, she’s never regretted anything like she regrets telling Youngji about Wonyoung…

Wonyoung likes Yujin back, somehow--probably?--and that would be very nice if there wasn't a massive problem. Friends come first for Wonyoung, and Yujin has been historically mean to Wonyoung's friends. So before they can date, Yujin must make things right with Wonyoung's friends.

She doesn't expect it to be as difficult as it is.

Behind Wonyoung’s great pen-game and songwriting holds a story of wrapped emotions she never thought she’d confess.

Or, wherein Yujin’s curiosity ends up on her asking who’s the person that got her best friend to write shine with me, mine, and OTT.

“You… Want my number?” He asks, cocking his head to the side.

She nods. “How else will we communicate then? By email? Snail mail? Get with the times, Sunghoon!”

“Okay…” But he takes her phone anyway and inputs his number. He puts his contact as Sunghoon (KBS MC Buddy) but then watches as she changes that to Sunghoon 🐧✨.

“Great. I’ll text you?” She adds, waving the phone in her hand.

Sunghoon gives her a thumbs-up, and she giggles again. Huh, interesting. She leaves him not long after, and Sunghoon looks back at the poster they were both viewing. Maybe this emcee job won’t be that bad if Wonyoung would be there with him the entire time.

or: Sunghoon doesn't know why the universe had him meet Wonyoung, but it should be for a good cause.

  • Roadkill | by glitzyena (2kim + izone, completed) i would marry this if i could

Chaewon is a detective in The Outskirts of Seoul tasked with infiltrating a street gang organising illegal drift races. She thinks she's just about as prepared as she can be, but she wasn't told that there was so much more to this group than just racing. She wasn't told just what the stakes were, and she certainly wasn't told that she was going to fall in love with Kim Minju.

"Please. I'm begging you," "Are you?" Minju quirks a brow, voice dropping to something dangerously quiet. "Because if you were really begging, you'd be on your knees,"
