- contact Nick Naujokas about creating a plan for the upstairs
- estimate the costs
- decide what we can afford to do; possibly modify the plan
- get building permit
- make room in the garage for "stuff"
- get everything out of there (Christmas Decorations, Electronics, Boys' belongings, etc)
- move bed to front porch, rearrange the front porch
- remove doors and move to garage
- remove fixtures that we want to keep
- gut as much as we can from back room into front room
- get dumpster delivered
- gut remainder
- remove remaining linoleum and tacks
- someone can be working on cleaning off the remainder of goo on the stairs
- clean (vacuum)
- remove old wiring (electricity turned off)
- remove some roofing in preparation of raising roof
- build the dormers
- re-roof where necessary and re-do all roof vents
- re-do wiring
- have sheetrock delivered (through windows?)
- install dormer windows
- put siding on dormers
- painting of dormers
- install insulation
- inspection?
- install sheetrock
- tape
- mud
- prime walls and ceiling
- paint
- install trim around windows, doors and floor
- finish wiring and fixtures
- move in!
- finish shelves
- finish dressers and nightstands from IKEA
- move futon up to top of stairs
- refinance
