Seyoung was raised by his foster parents. His eyes suffered Tritanomaly, a blindness of blue-yellow color. His mother died right after he was born and his father raised him on his own. When Seyoung's father died because of a car accident, he was passed from relative to relative. He didn't have many friends due to his transferal. He was also treated coldly by his foster parents. According to his memory, his foster parents have gotten drunk and hit him, or pretended to 'forget' to feed him due to unknown reasons.
It was when he's still in elementary school, he found out that his foster father works as a Professor plus a General Doctor. This caused the child insisting him to make his eyes into the normal ones. Much to the innocent mind, the foster father used this to enact Seyoung as an experiment. Seyoung had been growing up hoping for more love from his foster father. The envy he had felt from the happy families seen on the streets as a child caused his natural desire to please the father to get his liking. For this reason, Seyoung immediately accepted to be experimented. It's a long and torturing process, being forced to receive unknown types of "medicines" to see their effects. The frequent needs to vomit or suffer from different illnesses and symptoms were unbearable, but it's the only ways to have his father compliment himāand for this, he was willing to go through all the pain. Through the different experimentation then, it was confirmed that Seyoung's sight has totally changed.
But not into the better one.
In fact, his sight had turned into the worst one.
He lost all the colorfulness he could see. Every view before his eyes altered into a grey scale hues.
He was frustrated and escaped from there, bumping into his neighbor, Jiin. The neighbor inquired as the kid later told all his story. And thus, Jiin reported the foster father and transferred Seyoung into her own orphanage.
The people in the orphanage were nice to him. Letting him grow up to the kind of person he wanted to be. The disability he has until now surely had put him into uncountable troubles, including finding a proper occupation. Nonetheless, he didn't give up. With the current eyes that were given by his foster father, he decides to experience life in its fullest.
