• hooky twin witches miss their bus to school and instead study under a powerful wizard. gets way deeper than it sounds, art is lovely, settings are gorgeous, slow burn goodness
• balderdash! (hiatus) two witches move to a lovely little town and make a living for themselves. such a dreamy art style!
• refund high when a human or spirit dies in an unjust or early death, they're sent to refund high for a chance at reincarnation. its very darling
• castle swimmer cool shark mermaids! a spooky prophecy involving the beacon who has to be killed by said shark mermaids, but falls in love with one?!
• monster pulse humans have their body parts turned into external monsters, who they now have to keep safe and secret. pretty dramatic and very endearing. nice and long
• tiger tiger gorgeous grayscale artworks! ludovica steals her brother's ship in order to continue her studies. unintentionally signs up for some dramaaaaa and may unearth some deep sea secrets?
• lore olympus vibrant and unique take on the most famous greek mythos! fluid watercolour-eqsue pages and expressive style
• everblue two shipwrights build a flying ship and travel across the oceans. polished art style and beautiful vivid colours, this is a fave
• sleepless domain follows a lot of magical girl tropes, but has a tragic twist at the start. realistic communication where they talk about their issues really made me like this one. art is very cute and complete and is humorous at times!
• wildelife oscar the journalist moves into a house haunted by a woman who died in the 1940's in a rural old town and meets a teenage werewolf. based off native american mythology, captivating story and art style
• alice and the nightmare borrows the name and thematics, but isn't much like the original story. magic skill is defined by the four different card suits
• cucumber quest a boy gets selected? as the hero to save everyone from the nightmare knight, but he wants to change his mind with his sister and some new friends. this art style is STUNNING, and the comic is pretty funny too
• check, please! gay ice hockey, very cute and funny too
• monster pop! a very lovely comic about a monster university, focusing on george a cyclops and her monster and human friends. some key pages also have a lovely song by the author to go with it

• gunnerkrigg court dont worry, the art style improves a lot. this has been going on for YEARS, its quite the investment but its really great. i forgot what its about except this girl has cool fire hair and a fox friend and a magic rock she can see things with
• paranatural kid moves to a new town and theres spooky stuff going on. this artist is hilarious, probably the funniest comic i know of
