Heya! I'm Madame Mozart, but you can call me "Maddy". This is where I'll store a bunch of notes that'll mostly be of use only to me, but maybe you'll find them interesting, too. ♥︎

25 y.o., she/her, Asian-American, self-taught artist, demisexual/demiromantic, Aquarius (1/28), hardcore Mozart fan.

i wanna write a just for fun story featuring all of my old awful mary sue characters just because cringe culture is dead and i wanna spite all those internet edgelords who throw the "mary sue/gary stu" labels on characters they have a problem with. like some of these oc creators are literal children just having fun making their own characters and i remember being a teenager and making my little pony characters that were criticized for being overpowered. literally caused me to leave the fandom :/ but anyway i digress

  • chapter one: it's bahamian girl melody (or "mel")'s first day of seventh grade! as always, middle school sucks eggs, but mel just wants to be herself and hopes she'll just coast through the year... until things are about to get interesting when she meets CHARLOTTE MOTHERTRUCKING LI.
    • charlotte of course defies all logic: she's a pale-skinned, green-eyed, long black-haired tall girl who's a self-proclaimed "gifted" clarinetist and believes she's the only teenager in the entire world who appreciates classical music. she owns a literal hotel despite being only twelve years old and wears anything she wants (from prim and proper frilly fancy clothes to more risque ones) and heck, she's even met wolfgang amadeus mozart himself, supposedly

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

  • chapter two: mel is just about ready to lose her freaking mind when she sees that charlotte has the EXACT. SAME. CLASSES. she has. charlotte convinces herself that she and mel are destined to be best friends forever!!!! by the end of school, mel just wants to go home but charlotte isn't letting up. she probably does a whole "woe is me" pity story just so mel will let her tag along with her back to her place so they can hang out as best friends do!!!

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

  • chapter three: mel and charlotte walk to the former's house together and charlotte's probably still at it trying to regale her new friend with her outlandish stories. mel is kinda lowkey annoyed but doesn't want to be mean so she humors her. eventually they make it to mel's home and she introduces charlotte to her aunt and uncle who run the restaurant on the first floor. deja and ramon are actually kinda won over by charlotte's charm and think she'll be the perfect friend for their niece, which just makes her die inside more. on a whim, charlotte decides to invite mel to her inn/home and mel is like "augh i don't wanna do this but my aunt and uncle are like persuading me to go to be nice so i might as well" and they set off. along the way, charlotte starts talking more about how she and mozart supposedly met

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

  • chapter four: flashback time! this happened a few days ago, believe it or not. 6-year-old jeremius "jeremy" and 11-year-old annemarie "annie" morce are visiting the bahamas for the first time with their parents. the kids are allowed to go shopping for a little bit as their parents order food and lo and behold, charlotte freaking cuts in front of them in line. when annie tries to ask her what's up, charlotte convinces herself it's the mozarts in person. jeremy is kinda curious and tries to ask questions like all little kids sorta do but annie knows better and steps in front of him to protect him. luckily, their parents call them over and they escape....... but not before they run into charlotte AGAIN at the resort water park.

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

  • chapter five: to the morce children's dismay, charlotte won't stop talking to them and proclaiming how she's special and disregarded for being unique and all that. she invites them to her place and annie is still kind of weirded out but relents, thinking that charlotte must not have any friends here. secretly though, annie and her brother have a secret that no one else knows and they can hardly explain... yet charlotte might just know about it, too. lo and behold, charlotte does indeed own an inn, yet her parents are never seen. she asks if her guests want a meal and it's revealed that she does indeed have a guardian of sorts, a walking irish stereotype also named charlotte! they serve the two children a fine meal when annie decides it's time to leave. charlotte seems to REALLY want the two to stay with her but annie makes an excuse about her parents being worried about not finding her and she and her brother book it. thankfully, they never see charlotte again

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

  • chapter six: mel silently takes in charlotte's story for a moment before wondering how long it's going to take until they reach the latter's home. as if on cue, they arrive, and mel takes in her friend's home. like clockwork, charlotte's namesake and guardian greets them and makes them a delicious meal. charlotte invites mel to come see her bedroom (and the many guest rooms as well) and she sees her closet of fine clothes and - believe it or not - a mozart SHRINE. mel is kind of weirded out but slightly pities charlotte in a way since she isn't the kind of person to judge what others are interested in. she allows charlotte to have her phone number so they can keep in touch, as she does give a legitimate excuse of helping her parents with their restaurant throughout the year. mel leaves, and charlotte relishes in her new friendship and proclaims she'll see mozart himself again.
